Contact Information / Time Zone / Mission Statement

To edit your organization name or its address, telephone, email or website, go to Configuration >> Organization Settings >> Contact Information

Having the right time zone is crucial to the use of the time clock. To check or change it, go to Configuration >> Organization Settings >> Time Zone

Exposing your volunteers to your organization’s or your volunteer program’s mission statement is considered a preferred practice in the volunteer sector. It becomes a constant reminder of at least one of the reasons to be engaged as a volunteer at your organization.

To add or edit your mission statement, go to Configuration >> Organization Settings >> Mission Statement.

It will show up on the page where prospective volunteers can see your volunteer opportunities and on the home page when your volunteers log in.

You can override the heading for your mission statement on MyVolunteerPage.com and on your public page. If you do choose to override the default text that is used (i.e. “Mission Statement”), your text will not be translated into our supported languages for volunteers who are using MyVolunteerPage.com. It will always display using the overridden text you enter here.

1. To enter a custom title for your organization’s mission statement, go to Configuration >> Organization Settings >> General Settings
2. Scroll down to the “Customization Settings” section
3. Enter the desired text in the “Custom title For Mission Statement” field (maximum 100 characters in length)
4. Click the [Save] button
